First, there were the pigs-I think there were at least seven. They were in a pen that was a bit far away, but I did manage to get a few cute photos, of every angle. The rumors are true-all pigs do is eat. I tried very hard not to think of the piggies as bacon!
Next stop were the sheep. There were a bunch of new lambs that had the most gorgeous auburn coats.
The mama sheep really liked Bambi and wanted to make friends. Bambi's red spots matched the lambs perfectly.
The absolutely best part were the cow and her precious calf. As soon
as they saw Bambi through the fence, they came right over and wanted to
get to know her better. Unfortunately, Bambi was not a fan-she was
probably intimidated by the size of the cow and the "baby." But because of Bambi, we got to see the animals up close. The mama had the most stylish bangs and the baby had beautiful eyes.
We did a little hiking in the hills behind the farm and saw a bunch of chickens and a petulant rooster. I even drank out of the stream-how hippy-dippy. I think that everyone needs some "hippy-dippiness" in life sometimes to stay sane.
